Corn Anjou 292 is a mid-early hybrid of universal purpose, intended for cultivation as grain and silage. This hybrid is characterized by high yield: over 120 centners of dry grain and more than 500 centners of silage per hectare. Plants reach a height of 230 to 260 cm, have strong and flexible stems, ensuring resistance to wind loads and precipitation, as well as reducing lodging risk. The hybrid demonstrates high drought and disease resistance, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. Anjou 292 is genetically predisposed to form two ears, which contributes to stable and high yields. Seeds are produced by the company Nertus based on selection developments from the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crop Research in Novi Sad (Serbia). The hybrid has been included in the State Register of Ukraine since 2013, confirming its quality and adaptation to local growing conditions. Moreover, Anjou 292 exhibits excellent adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions, allowing successful cultivation in areas with varying moisture levels. High profitability of the hybrid is achieved due to strong disease resistance, including downy and powdery mildew, as well as efficient water release during harvest. Recommended seeding rates vary depending on growing conditions, enabling optimal plant density and maximum yield.
