Breeders have paid particular attention to protection against common smut (Ustilago maydis), a disease capable of significantly reducing both crop quality and volume. The hybrid's flexibility is demonstrated by the ability to vary plant density depending on the moisture availability of the plot and the general farming background:

• In zones with sufficient rainfall, optimal indicators are 60,000–65,000 plants/ha.
• On highly productive backgrounds or under irrigation, the density can be increased to 70,000–75,000 plants/ha.
