Coriander Nectar

A Reliable Choice for Greenery Production

The 'Nektar' coriander variety, developed by the Research Institute of Agriculture, is a dedicated leafy cultivar. Unlike essential oil varieties designed primarily for seed yield, 'Nektar' is engineered specifically for biomass production, focusing on succulent, aromatic cilantro leaves.

Agronomic Profile

Classified as a mid-season variety, 'Nektar' shows excellent response to intensive cultivation practices. Its primary market advantage is a delayed bolting habit, which is essential for ensuring harvest quality during spring and summer cycles. The plant forms a dense leaf rosette that regenerates well after cutting, making it a preferred option for professional vegetable producers and small-scale farmers alike.

• Primary Use: Leafy production (cilantro).
• Aroma Profile: Balanced and distinctly characteristic, meeting high culinary standards.
• Field Resilience: High adaptability to arid growing conditions, typical of southern agricultural regions.

'Nektar' maintains a solid reputation for predictability. Growers value it because it preserves its market quality even if planting schedules are slightly compromised, avoiding premature flowering. It serves as a dependable tool for those maintaining a constant harvest conveyor from early spring through late autumn.
