Clover PIRUEAT

Danish excellence for the perfect lawn

The Pirouet white clover from the Danish breeder DLF is the result of long-term development aimed at creating a low-growing, aesthetically pleasing, and highly durable ground cover. Within the professional landscape design industry, this variety has established itself as a benchmark for "slow-growing" lawns. Unlike wild varieties, Pirouet maintains a compact habit, making it an optimal choice for those looking to minimize lawn maintenance while keeping a pristine appearance.

Agronomic potential and durability

The primary strength of this selection lies in its unique combination of elegance and resilience. Pirouet clover forms a dense carpet that withstands active usage. Its high tolerance to trampling makes it an excellent choice for playgrounds, gardens, and recreational areas with moderate traffic. Furthermore, this variety is an exceptional honey plant, effectively supporting local bee populations throughout the entire flowering season.

• Usage: Decorative and functional lawn applications.
• Morphology: Compact plant reaching a height of 20–40 cm.
• Bloom: Delicate white flowers that maintain their ornamental value for an extended period.
• Seeding rate: 8–10 kg/ha.

Incorporating DLF clover into lawn mixes or using it as a monoculture significantly improves soil structure. Through symbiosis with nitrogen-fixing bacteria, it naturally enriches the soil. In today's agricultural market, the Pirouet variety remains highly sought after due to its consistent germination rates and high adaptability to temperate climate zones.
