Clover Danaya

Practical Application of Danaia Clover

When selecting a perennial for creating a dense green cover or managing pasture rotation, the primary criteria are recovery speed and the physical endurance of the turf. The Danaia variety, developed by the Institute of Fodder of the UAAS, is specifically engineered for operational loads. In conditions of intensive grazing or active recreational lawn use, this clover demonstrates high resistance to trampling, which is essential for maintaining sod integrity.

Operational Advantages

• Growth Dynamics: The growing season is 60–80 days. A key feature of this variety is its rapid regrowth rate after mowing or grazing, which reduces the interval between pasture usage cycles.
• Height Profile: The plant is compact (20–40 cm) and not prone to lodging, simplifying site maintenance and minimizing the need for frequent cutting when used as a lawn.
• Biological Resource: This white-flowered clover is a potent honey plant. If your site borders an apiary or you manage your own beekeeping operation, Danaia ensures a consistent nectar flow throughout the season.

In terms of maintenance, this clover does not require complex agrotechnical interventions. Due to its rapid development, the crop effectively suppresses weed growth, reducing herbicide costs. It is a balanced choice for those seeking a durable, wear-resistant turf with minimal costs for cover restoration.
