PEACH BOWL

Clarkia "Peach Bowl" is an annual herbaceous plant from the F1 hybrid series created by the company Sakata. The cluster height is about 50 cm, and the bushes form dense compact formations, making them ideal for decorative beds and compositions.

The flowers of this Clarkia are striking for their brightness and variety of shades: lavender with white edges, red with a white eye, striped, pink with raspberry spots in the center of the petal, pale pink and yellowish-pink. The flower diameter is 5–6 cm, and abundant flowering creates an effective visual accent against the background of green foliage.

For successful cultivation of Clarkia, it is necessary to prepare loose, slightly acidic soil with moderate moisture and good drainage. Seeds are usually sown at the end of April – early May, after which seedlings appear in two weeks; if necessary, seedlings can be thinned at a distance of 20–40 cm from each other. The plant prefers sunny or slightly shaded places protected from strong winds. Regular watering of young crops and moderate application of mineral fertilizers (superphosphate, potassium sulfate) promote healthy growth and abundant flowering.

Clarkia "Peach Bowl" is distinguished not only by its decorativeness but also by drought resistance. With proper care, it easily self-seeds, and can also be grown from seedlings, which makes it a popular choice among gardeners looking for bright and undemanding plants for their plots.
