Clarkia BRIDAL BOUTONNIERE

Botanical Profile and Breeding Characteristics

The 'Svadebny Buket' (Wedding Bouquet) Clarkia by the 'Kapris' farm is the result of targeted breeding aimed at stabilizing inflorescence characteristics for professional floriculture. The originator, a team led by Vyacheslav Vasilyevich Shepelev, focuses on optimizing the plant's adaptability to temperate climates.

Inflorescence Morphology

The primary competitive advantage of this variety is its flower diameter, ranging from 3 to 5 cm. During the selection of parent lines, particular attention was paid to petal density and the ability to maintain turgor under varying humidity levels. Physiologically, 'Svadebny Buket' demonstrates high lodging resistance, which is critical for maintaining commercial quality during cultivation for cut flowers.

Technological Potential for Cut Flowers

This hybrid was developed as a specialized tool for the floral industry. The plant's technical specifications allow for an optimal flower stalk length, which, combined with bud size, makes it highly sought after for professional floral arrangements. The high planting density recommended by 'Kapris' agronomists promotes the development of uniform, vertically oriented shoots, minimizing harvest losses.
