Chrysanthemum Sonechko

A Landmark of Ukrainian Breeding: Chrysanthemum 'Sonechko'

Developed by the experts at the M. M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden, the 'Sonechko' chrysanthemum stands as a prime example of Ukrainian shrub chrysanthemum breeding. This variety has earned a solid reputation among both professional landscape designers and gardening enthusiasts for its reliability, vigor, and aesthetic impact.

Agronomic Features and Decorative Appeal

The hallmark of this variety is its distinct spider-type inflorescence. The large, vibrant yellow blooms, reaching over 10 cm in diameter, live up to the name 'Sonechko' (Sun). As a tall plant (60+ cm), it maintains a robust structure, making it a perfect choice for garden borders or commercial cut-flower production.

• Early Bloom Cycle: This variety hits its peak in September, providing a burst of bright color just as the autumn season begins.
• Climate Adaptation: Known for high frost resistance, this variety is fully adapted to the Ukrainian climate, ensuring successful overwintering and long-term garden durability compared to non-hardy imported cultivars.
• Professional Utility: The combination of striking flower form and sturdy stems makes 'Sonechko' a staple in floristry. Its long vase life ensures that the blooms remain fresh, adding significant value to autumn floral arrangements.

By choosing 'Sonechko', you are selecting a cultivar deeply adapted to local soil and environmental conditions, requiring straightforward maintenance while delivering a high-impact, professional-grade floral display.
