NERKES

Chrysanthemum NERKES is an annual variety designed for cultivation in the central region of Russia. The plant reaches a height of up to 70 cm, while the flower heads have a diameter of about 6.5 cm. The flowers are light purple with a changing hue as they bloom, giving them special decorative appeal. The variety is resistant to main diseases and pests, and possesses good winter hardiness, making it a reliable choice for gardeners.

Furthermore, the Chrysanthemum NERKES is suitable for cultivation in various conditions — in the garden, on a balcony, or in pots. Blooming begins in October and continues until the first frosts, delighting with bright and saturated colors. The leaves of the plant vary in size and shape, adding an additional decorative effect. The height of the stems allows the variety to be used for cutting and creating floral compositions.

The variety was registered in 2011 and developed at the Botanical Garden-Institute of the Ufa Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
