Chrysanthemum GOLDEN YURTA

A compact accent for the autumn garden

The 'Zolotaya Yurta' chrysanthemum is a selection breakthrough from the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. This cultivar distinguishes itself from typical tall varieties through its unique architecture: standing at just 30 cm, it forms a dense, vibrant, mound-shaped structure. It is designed for those seeking a balance between high aesthetic appeal and resilience in demanding climates.

Key Advantages

• Cold Resistance: Unlike many imported hybrids, 'Zolotaya Yurta' is bred to withstand harsh winters, making it a reliable perennial for open ground.
• Extended Bloom: Blooming in October, the plant maintains its floral display for over 40 days—a rare quality for late-season varieties.
• Versatility: Its dwarf habit makes it an ideal candidate for container gardening, borders, or patios where mobile decor is required.

The bright yellow-orange petals provide a splash of sunshine on gloomy October days. The variety is excellent for cutting, holding freshness well in arrangements. A crucial note: to ensure maximum decorative effect, the plant requires a sunny location. In shade, the stems may stretch, losing their characteristic compact 'yurta' shape. This is an optimal choice for gardeners who prioritize consistent results without the need for intensive daily maintenance.
