Chrysanthemum Regina

Stability and Aesthetics in Every Bush

The 'Regina' chrysanthemum is a professional tool for those specializing in cut flower production or landscape design. Developed by breeders at the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, this variety demonstrates exceptional adaptability to challenging climates. In cultivation, 'Regina' is highly predictable: it requires no complex agrotechnical interventions, making it an economically viable choice for commercial production.

Agrotechnical Features and Maintenance

The plant is categorized as medium-sized (30–60 cm), which simplifies mechanical maintenance and logistics. Key operational parameters include:

• Lighting: Requires open, sunny areas. A lack of light directly affects the quality of the spherical shape and bud density.
• Durability: 'Regina' possesses high frost resistance, which reduces costs associated with winter protection in temperate zones.
• Flowering: The blooming period occurs in October. The variety's primary asset is its longevity in both cut and garden states (over 40 days), allowing for an extended sales window.
• Protection: The breeding focus is on enhanced resistance to rot. This significantly reduces the need for fungicides, lowering the overall production cost.

The large-flowered form (blossom diameter over 10 cm) combined with a flawless white color makes 'Regina' a benchmark option for premium floral arrangements. The dense structure of the inflorescence ensures excellent transportability without the risk of losing marketability. An optimal choice for operators who value the balance of decorative expressiveness and ease of maintenance.
