Chrysanthemum BAYRAM

Cultivation and Maintenance of the «Bayram» Chrysanthemum

The «Bayram» variety, developed by the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, is designed for efficient landscape maintenance. Standing between 30 and 60 cm, this bush chrysanthemum eliminates the need for staking or complex support systems, making it a low-maintenance choice for professional and amateur gardeners alike.

Key Operational Features

To maximize the performance of this plant, consider the following technical aspects of its care:

• Sunlight Requirements: This variety is strictly photophilous. Optimal exposure is required to maintain the structural integrity of the stems and the intensity of the pink-violet blooms.
• Blooming Efficiency: One of the main advantages is the extended flowering period of 40+ days. With a flower diameter of 5–10 cm, it provides a consistent visual impact throughout the season without requiring frequent deadheading.
• Winterization: Featuring moderate frost resistance, the plant survives standard winter conditions in open soil with basic mulching and protection, ensuring high winter hardiness in temperate climates.

The «Bayram» chrysanthemum is built for durability and ease of care. Its compact habit makes it highly manageable, significantly reducing labor hours for pruning and site preparation, making it a reliable addition to any outdoor decor strategy.
