Chrysanthemum Koreanum Eleine is a striking garden plant with sturdy bushes reaching 50-60 cm in height. The inflorescences of this variety are lush, densely double-flowered, with a diameter of 6-8 cm, predominantly white with a tendril-yellow center, giving the flowers special elegance and decorative appeal. Blooming starts in July-August and continues until September, making the chrysanthemum a wonderful garden decoration at the end of summer and the beginning of autumn. Thanks to its beauty and durability, the variety is excellent for cutting and creating floral compositions.

For successful cultivation of the Eleine chrysanthemum, it is important to choose a sunny, wind-protected location with light, humus-rich soil and good drainage. The plant does not tolerate shade and excessive moisture, so planting in depressions with a high groundwater level is undesirable. When planting, roots should be planted moderately deep, considering that root growth occurs parallel to the soil surface. On hot days, it is recommended to plant cuttings in the morning or evening hours, and additional support may be required for tall varieties.

Care for the chrysanthemum includes moderate watering, avoiding over-wetting, but during dry periods the plant needs more abundant watering to maintain the decorative quality of the flowers and prevent stem woodying. For wintering, the Korean chrysanthemum Eleine is quite hardy and can withstand frosts under light cover or even without it, depending on the conditions. It is important to cover the plant after the ground has slightly frozen and stable negative temperatures are established to avoid waterlogging, which is more dangerous for chrysanthemums than frost. In spring, the plant can be propagated by dividing mother plants, which allows obtaining healthy bushes without additional rooting.
