Tulip Dekker's Glory

A Reliable Choice for Spring Landscapes

The Triumph tulip "Dekkers Glory" is a classic representative of its group that has maintained its position in industrial floriculture for decades thanks to its predictability and high ornamental value. Unlike many varieties prone to rapid degradation, this hybrid demonstrates enviable resistance to key pathogens, including fusarium, black leg, and clubroot, making it a favorite for professionals handling large-scale planting.

Agricultural Features and Visual Style

The primary visual advantage of "Dekkers Glory" is its delicate yet saturated pink color, which retains its freshness even during unstable spring temperatures. The medium-height stems possess high structural integrity, allowing the bud to remain upright even during strong winds — a common issue with many pink varieties is effectively addressed here by the density of the flower stalk.

• Disease Resistance: High immunity to soil-borne fungi and pathogens reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications.
• Bloom Time: The mid-season flowering period is perfect for filling the gap between early botanical tulips and late double varieties.
• Best For: An ideal solution for landscape design (flower beds, borders) and commercial forcing, where high yield and marketability are prioritized.

The drawback of the variety lies in its traditional aesthetic: it does not offer the exotic petal shapes seen in parrot or lily-flowered tulips. However, for mass landscaping and creating classic monochromatic compositions, "Dekkers Glory" remains a benchmark solution, balancing reliability with pure, consistent color.
