Chrysanthemum URAL FALL

Growing Experience of Multiflora Chrysanthemums

The «Uralskaya Osen» chrysanthemum is designed for those looking to extend their garden season well into late autumn. Developed by experts at the Ufa Federal Research Center of the RAS, this variety excels in harsh climates, offering remarkable resilience. As a grower, you will appreciate its predictable growth pattern: the plant forms an ideal «multiflora» sphere without the need for intensive pruning or pinching.

Maintenance and Operational Specs

• Planting and Size: With a height of 30–60 cm, these compact bushes are perfect for high-density landscaping or container gardening. The medium-sized flowers (5–10 cm) create a dense canopy that hides the foliage beneath.
• Cold Tolerance: The primary advantage of this variety is its high frost resistance. Even with late blooming in November, when other plants have already entered dormancy, this chrysanthemum retains its aesthetic appeal, standing up to early freezes.
• Blooming Period: The flowering resource is impressive, lasting 40+ days of continuous bloom. This significantly reduces the labor required for replacing annuals at the end of the season.
• Comfort: The plant is scentless, which is a major advantage when planted near terraces or windows, as it does not attract excessive insects or overwhelm the area with heavy fragrances.

«Uralskaya Osen» requires minimal input: timely watering during bud formation and proper positioning to ensure the uniform development of the sphere. It is a reliable «workhorse» for both professional greening projects and private gardens where consistent results and time-efficiency are paramount.
