DUNGUAN LOCAL

The "Dungan Local" garlic variety is a winter-hardy flowering type, distinguished by its rapid maturity and high yield. The bulb is round-flat, large, weighing between 50 and 80 grams, with purple-colored outer dry scales. Each head contains 2 to 9 large, uniformly sized cloves, each having a brown-purple hue and a sharp taste. The variety matures in June, corresponding to the 90-100 days from planting, and is characterized by high winter hardiness and resistance to garlic diseases and pests.

A feature of "Dungan Local" is a tall flowering scape with a large number of flowers and the formation of up to 130 small aerial bulbs, which facilitates propagation and preservation of the variety. Garlic adapts well to various growing conditions, including winter planting of cloves and aerial bulbs, and is successfully cultivated in various regions, including southern Kazakhstan and many regions of Russia.
