Description Peskovatskaya
Peskovaцkaya is a variety of sweet cherry that is characterized by early ripening and high winter hardiness. The tree is of medium height with an rounded, lifted and sparse crown, which facilitates care and harvesting. The variety is distinguished by high drought resistance and resistance to cockle, which makes it a reliable choice for growing in the Lower Volga region.

Peskovaцkaya fruits are large, weighing from 4.5 to 5 grams, round in shape with a red skin. The flesh is red, very juicy, tender and fibrous, with a slightly sweet-sour taste, which is rated as very good (from 4.3 to 4.5 points on the tasting scale). The juice of the fruits is also red. The stone is yellowish, medium or large, egg-shaped, easily separated from the flesh, which facilitates consumption and processing of berries.

The variety is partially self-fruitful and universal in purpose, which allows it to be used both for fresh consumption and for processing. Peskovaцkaya has been included in the state register since 1993 and is recommended for growing in the Lower Volga region, in particular in the Volgograd region. High yield and excellent taste qualities make this variety attractive for gardeners and farmers.
