CHERESNEVAYA

Cheresnevaya cherry is a high-yielding hybrid variety obtained by crossing cherry and cherry. Trees of this variety are medium-sized with a beautiful wide-oval crown and thick gray-brown shoots. They begin to bear fruit as early as the 3-4th year after planting, which allows for a quick first harvest. Blooming occurs in early May, when shoots are covered with large white buds, creating an impressive decorative spectacle.

The fruits of cheresnevaya cherry are distinguished by their large size – the weight of berries reaches 9-15 grams. They have a rich red or dark red skin, while the flesh is lighter with veins and possesses a distinct cherry-cherry aroma. The taste of the berries is sweet, without acidity, making them especially attractive for fresh consumption. The stone is small and easily separates from the flesh. Due to their taste qualities, the fruits are suitable not only for direct consumption but also for various types of canning.

The variety is distinguished by high frost hardiness and resistance to fungal diseases, which ensures a stable and abundant harvest annually. Thanks to these characteristics, cheresnevaya cherry is successfully grown both in private gardens and on an industrial scale. The early ripening period – the last decade of June – allows fruits to be obtained earlier than many other varieties, which is an additional advantage for gardeners and farmers.
