PETROVSKAYA 4/105 is a lentil variety characterized by high yield and resistance to lodging and diseases. The seeds have a flat shape, yellow cotyledon color, and contain 28‑29% protein, making them a valuable ingredient for the food industry. The variety belongs to the mid-season type and is grown in various climatic conditions, including regions with a temperate climate.

The crop features a straight or semi-trailing stem ranging from 20 to 55 cm in height, complex paripennate leaves, and small flowers of various shades. The fruit is a pod containing flat seeds with a diameter of 5.5‑9 mm (large-seeded group). Lentils enrich the soil with nitrogen, making them a good predecessor for subsequent crops.

For planting, a row spacing of 15‑20 cm and a sowing depth of 5‑6 cm is recommended. Fertilizers include phosphorus (40‑80 kg/ha P₂O₅) and potassium (60‑100 kg/ha K₂O), applied in autumn under autumn plowing or in spring under tillage.
