Carrot CANDY SUGAR CARROT

A snowy-white dessert from your garden

The «Karamel Sakharnaya» (Sugar Caramel) carrot from the Gavrish breeding firm is a choice for those who seek not just standard vitamin benefits in vegetables, but also unique flavor profiles. Unlike standard orange varieties, this root vegetable features a rare white color, making it an exotic addition to the garden and a sophisticated ingredient for culinary arts.

Agronomic Features

The variety is mid-season, with a vegetation period of 100–110 days. The semi-conical shape of the roots, 15–20 cm long and weighing 100–120 grams, makes them convenient for both machine and manual harvesting. The focus is on versatility:

• Bunch produce: the delicate taste and unusual appearance allow for profitable sales at early maturation stages.
• Processing: the firm yet juicy flesh perfectly retains its texture after heat treatment.
• Protected ground: the variety is perfectly adapted for film covers, allowing farmers to harvest the first crop ahead of competitors.

The main strength of «Karamel Sakharnaya» lies in its flavor qualities. The name says it all: the root is characterized by a high sugar content and a tender consistency without coarse fibers. A potential downside is the need for careful handling during transport due to the light color, which easily reveals any imperfections, but for private farms and niche markets, this is not a critical issue.

This variety is optimal for farmers targeting the HoReCa sector and consumers who value the aesthetics of food presentation. If you want to diversify your vegetable assortment by offering the market something beyond the standard supermarket carrot, this variety from Gavrish will be an excellent investment in your farm's reputation.
