Taras F1

Taras F1 — a late-maturing hybrid of white cabbage, maturing 135-145 days after transplanting seedlings. Heads have a flat-round shape with a slight cone toward the core, characterized by very high density and a small inner core. Average head weight ranges from 2.5 to 4 kg. The outer color of the head is light green with a distinct waxy coating, while the interior is white. Thanks to this waxy coating, the hybrid is practically immune to aphids and thrips, significantly simplifying care and improving crop quality.

The plant is sprawling and grows on a tall stem, indicating high storability and resistance to damage during storage. Taras F1 exhibits high resistance to major cabbage diseases, including fusarium, alternaria, phytophthora, vascular, and slime bacterial blight. Additionally, during storage, the cabbage does not suffer from punctate necrosis, allowing it to retain its market appearance and quality for an extended period.

This hybrid is versatile in use and particularly suitable for pickling after long-term storage — from 6 to 9 months. It is recommended to grow through seedlings with a sowing rate of 35-40 thousand plants per hectare, ensuring yields of 80 to 120 tons per hectare. Taras F1 also features a well-developed root system and resistance to drought and low humidity, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions.
