Jedi Green F1 is a mid-early hybrid of white cabbage, characterized by a vegetation period of 65 to 80 days. The plant forms oval, dense heads of saturated green or blue-green color, weighing from 1.5 to 2.5 kg. The heads have a fine, crisp inner structure and very small core, making them convenient for processing and consumption. The leaves are thin and slightly sweet in taste, enhancing the product quality.
The hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to various diseases, especially bacterial diseases, vascular wilting, and fusarium. In addition, the cabbage is not prone to cracking, flower stalk drop, sunburn, and head discoloration. The plant tolerates temperature fluctuations and high humidity well, making it suitable for cultivation during late summer and autumn.
Jedi Green F1 is suitable for various uses: it can be consumed fresh, used for processing and pickling. The cabbage exhibits good transportability and long-term storage capability, making it advantageous for commercial cultivation and fresh market sales. The hybrid is produced in the Netherlands.
