Langesvyt Bewaar

Langesvyt Bewaar is a late-maturing variety of white cabbage developed by the company Svitiaz as an improvement of the well-known Langedeyer Dauer variety. The vegetation period ranges from 160 to 175 days, allowing for high yields. The cabbage head has a round shape and dark green color with a dense internal structure, with an average fruit weight ranging from 2 to 4 kg. This variety is versatile and suitable for long-term storage, fresh consumption, and processing. The cabbage is well-suited for transportation and is distinguished by high taste qualities as well as a high content of vitamins and nutrients.

Langesvyt Bewaar can be grown both by seedlings and direct sowing. For seedling cultivation, seeds are sown in open-ground nurseries in the first decade of April, and seedlings are transplanted at 40-45 days old, when they have developed 5 true leaves. The optimal transplanting period is from the third decade of May to the first decade of June, with planting depth up to the first true leaf. For direct sowing, seeds are sown in the second to third decade of April at a depth of 1-2.5 cm into the final location. Seedlings are thinned during the 2-3 true leaf stage, and the removed seedlings can be used as transplant seedlings. Crop care follows standard practices and corresponds to generally accepted agronomic norms for the region of cultivation.
