Ritsa

RICCA is an early-maturing cabbage hybrid characterized by high yield and excellent taste. The heads are round in shape and weigh between 0.9 and 2.5 kg depending on specific growing conditions. The leaves are small, green, with a slight waxy coating, ranging from smooth to slightly blistered and wavy at the edges. The inner part of the head is whitish or bright yellow; the high fruit density ensures good storability and preservation during storage and transportation.

The hybrid is resistant to a range of diseases, including fusarium and bacterial spot, and is tolerant to leaf tip browning and gray speckling. These qualities make RICCA a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions, especially in the North Caucasus region. The plant forms a raised rosette of leaves, which promotes good ventilation and reduces the risk of diseases.

RICCA is recommended for fresh consumption and storage. Due to its early maturation period—2-6 days earlier than standard varieties—and high yield of marketable product (up to 86%), this hybrid is a profitable option for commercial cultivation. Its dense and juicy heads are suitable both for fresh consumption and for processing.
