Description VIRIKA
VIRIKA – a mid-late turnip variety, primarily intended as a fodder crop for agricultural animals. The period from full germination to the beginning of technical maturity is 115‑125 days, which allows for planning sowing and harvest within the standard agricultural calendar.

The leaves of the variety are characterized by long, green, lyrate shapes with moderate edge waviness. Dentation is weak, the leaf is slightly hairy, and the rosette is semi-erect – features that make the plant resistant to mechanical damage and promote good air circulation.

The VIRIKA root has a round shape, medium diameter, and a smooth surface. The skin differs in strong anthocyanin coloring above the soil level, and below – yellow. The root flesh is yellow, indicating high starch and sugar content. The mass of one root varies from 2.0 to 2.3 kg, and the yield reaches 20.0–21.9 kg/m². Thanks to such characteristics, the variety is suitable for both fresh feeding of animals and silage production.

VIRIKA is distinguished by its resistance to diseases compared to other turnip fodder varieties, and also provides higher yield and root mass, making it a profitable choice in agricultural production.
