Description GREEN LEAF
Tarragon 'Green Leaf' – a perennial subshrub up to 120 cm tall, drought- and winter-hardy. The plant has vertical growth with upright stems; leaves are light green, smooth, slightly covered with a waxy bloom, while young shoots are juicy and tender.

The first mass harvest of greens is conducted in the second year of vegetation – 28–32 days after regrowth. The second cutting is possible 130 days after the first. Thanks to high aroma and rich taste, leaves and young shoots are used as a seasoning in salads, culinary dishes, and tonic drinks. Dried leaves are also valued for their preserved aroma.

Tarragon 'Green Leaf' is especially popular as a spice for pickling cucumbers and tomatoes due to its unique taste. The plant requires drained, neutral pH soils and a sunny location; waterlogging is not tolerated. With proper care, the plant retains its juiciness and aroma for a long time, making it an indispensable ingredient in home cooking.
