Beetroot "Light Dream" – these are large oval root crops of a light yellow color, the mass of each fruit ranges from 300 to 350 grams. The flesh is dense, intensely yellow, and sweet, making it particularly pleasant to taste both fresh and after processing.
The variety is distinguished by high resistance to bolting and good cold hardiness, so it can be grown in open ground from late April. Sowing is recommended at a depth of 2 cm, distance between plants – 18–20 cm in a row and 45 cm between rows. The maturity period is 115–125 days.
Beetroot "Light Dream" is rich in mineral salts and carbohydrates, and is also widely used in folk medicine as a vitamin, diuretic, antiseptic, and wound-healing agent. Thanks to these properties, it is suitable for consumption in fresh form, as well as for various processing – from boiling to baking, which makes it a universal ingredient in cooking.
