Buckwheat Lileya

Reliable Yields in Diverse Climatic Conditions

The «Lileya» (also known as «Perlyna») buckwheat variety, developed by the National Scientific Center «Institute of Agriculture of the NAAS», is designed for producers who prioritize operational efficiency and stable yields. With a maturity cycle of 85–90 days, this variety offers a predictable harvest window, allowing farm managers to effectively mitigate the risks associated with early autumn frosts.

Field Performance and Economic Benefits

• Exceptional Lodging Resistance: Reaching a height of 85–100 cm, Lileya features a robust stem structure. This trait is a major advantage during harvest, as it reduces grain losses and allows for efficient, high-speed combine operations.
• Disease Tolerance: Proven resistance to Ascochyta blight ensures that the crop maintains its physiological integrity throughout the growing season, which helps in reducing the need for intensive fungicide applications.
• Agronomic Simplicity: The variety exhibits uniform maturation, which simplifies harvest planning and minimizes the need for complex pre-harvest desiccation, saving time and operational costs.

Lileya is a practical solution for farmers seeking proven, high-quality genetics. Its adaptability to local soil and climate conditions ensures consistent production outcomes, making it a reliable choice for professional agricultural operations that demand performance and consistency in every hectare.
