Lileya (Perlyna) buckwheat is a medium-early buckwheat variety recommended for sowing in the Polissia and forest-steppe zones. Thanks to its agronomic characteristics, this variety is suitable for cultivation in areas with early field emergence. The variety was registered in 1987 and is valued for its high-quality seeds, as confirmed by the producer — the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.
Lileya buckwheat has high nutritional value and can be used as a base for various healthy food products. For example, buckwheat groats are used to make crackers, which are light, crispy snacks with high fiber content. Such crackers aid digestion, do not cause discomfort in the intestines, and help increase fiber intake while consuming less food volume.
Buckwheat products, including crackers, are an excellent source of B vitamins and minerals, making them beneficial for maintaining health and preventing various diseases. They are recommended for use in weight loss, obesity, diabetes, constipation, atherosclerosis, and other conditions, as well as for rationalizing nutrition for people over 40 years old.
