Buckwheat Kalinivna

Balanced performance for reliable buckweat production

The 'Kalynivna' buckwheat variety is designed for growers who prioritize predictability in their production cycle. With a vegetation period of 85–90 days, this variety fits seamlessly into various crop rotation schemes, allowing farmers to plan their harvesting window with confidence.

Why choose Kalynivna?

• Uniform maturation: Unlike many older cultivars, 'Kalynivna' is characterized by uniform ripening, which significantly reduces grain losses during direct combining.
• Strong agronomic structure: Resistance to lodging is one of its key strengths, making the variety easier to manage during the humid conditions often experienced in late summer.
• Consistency: This variety is valued for its stability. It delivers reliable performance across diverse soil types in Ukraine, provided that basic agronomic standards are met.

Optimal management tips

While 'Kalynivna' is resilient, it requires a prompt start. The variety performs best when sown in well-warmed soil, as early development is crucial to capitalize on the 85–90 day growing window. It is highly responsive to fertilizer application, though the timing of application should be synchronized with the crop's development stages to maximize grain fill.

This variety is ideal for producers targeting food-grade grain with high milling yields. If you are looking for a robust, no-nonsense crop that offers a predictable return on investment without requiring overly complex cultivation techniques, 'Kalynivna' is an excellent candidate for your fields.
