Description Zoro
Zoro bean is a medium-maturing, high-yielding bush-type variety with plant height of about 40-50 cm. The pods of this variety lack a parchment layer, are yellow in color, and reach up to 15 cm in length. Due to the high sugar content in the beans, reaching up to 25%, this bean has excellent taste qualities. Both young pods and mature seeds are edible, making this variety versatile in cooking.

This bean variety is resistant to several diseases, including bacterial blight, anthracnose, and yellow mosaic virus, and is not affected by rust. Yield reaches 2.0 kg per square meter, indicating high productivity. The bean is heat-loving, with an optimal temperature range for growth and development of 18-24°C, while seeds begin to germinate at soil temperature of 8-10°C. Plants are sensitive to frost and die at temperatures around 1°C.

For successful cultivation, bean seeds should be sown in open ground after the threat of spring frosts, when soil temperature at a depth of 5-7 cm reaches 10°C. Sowing is best done in clusters with intervals of 10-15 days to extend the fruiting period. Zoro bean variety is suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and freezing, expanding its usage possibilities in home gardening.
