Bean Caprika

The Caprika bean is a yellow, flat-podded, bush-type Romano variety, distinguished by high yield and excellent taste qualities. Plants reach a height of about 40-50 cm, have an upright bush habit, and are not prone to lodging, which facilitates harvesting. The pods are broad, 12-16 cm long and approximately 20 mm wide, bright yellow, succulent and tender, without tough fibers or parchment layers, making them especially pleasant in culinary use.

The Caprika variety is mid-season, maturing in 50-60 days after sowing, which allows for a stable and abundant harvest throughout the season. Due to its genetic resistance, this bean is resistant to common bean mosaic virus, anthracnose, and bacterial blight, enhancing reliability for both home and commercial cultivation.

Caprika bean is versatile in application: it is suitable for processing, fresh use, preparation of various dishes including salads, side dishes, and soups, as well as for canning and freezing. The pod flesh is juicy, sweet, and aromatic, making this variety especially valuable for healthy eating and dietary variety.
