Venus green bean variety represents an early-maturing bush variety with a compact plant reaching about 50 cm in height. The leaves are dark green, and the flowers are medium-sized and white. The pods are slightly curved, round, light green at technical maturity, 14-15 cm long and up to 1 cm wide, with a pointed tip and a characteristic beak. An important feature of the variety is the absence of the parchment layer and fibers, which ensures a pleasant taste and ease of preparation.
The Venus variety is characterized by high yield—about 2.0 kg per square meter, as well as resistance to common bean mosaic virus. The period from emergence to the beginning of technical maturity is approximately two months. The main advantages of the variety are synchronous fruiting and excellent taste qualities, making it an excellent choice for culinary use and freezing.
For planting, Venus bean seeds are sown at a depth of 2-3 cm after the last frost, following a 10 x 35-40 cm scheme. This approach provides optimal conditions for plant growth and development, allowing for a stable and high-quality harvest.
