Description NASTENA
Nastena beans represent a mid-early bush variety of asparagus beans, distinguished by compact growth of 35-45 cm and high yield. The plant forms numerous pods, partly located above the leaves, which facilitates mechanized harvest. Beans are light green in color, 14-16 cm long, juicy and sweet, fiberless, ensuring a pleasant taste and ease of preparation.

This variety is heat-loving and requires specific care: sowing is conducted at a depth of 4-6 cm with inter-row spacing of 40-50 cm and plant spacing within a row of about 10 cm. An important point is irrigation, which is recommended only after the formation of the first pods to avoid plant loss. Regular weeding and soil loosening promote good bean development and increased yield.

Nastena beans are valued not only for their high productivity, reaching up to 18 tons of pods and up to 4 tons of seeds per hectare, but also for their beneficial nutritional qualities. They are rich in proteins and are an excellent dietary supplement, making them in demand in a healthy eating diet. Resistance to anthracnose and adaptation to mechanized harvesting make this variety convenient and profitable for cultivation.
