DKC3972

Hybrid corn DKC3972 is a high-yielding, mid-season variety with FAO 300, intended for grain and silage production. It features a dent kernel type and plant height ranging from 230 to 250 cm. The ear has 14-16 rows, with 34-38 kernels per row. Starch content in the grain exceeds 72%, contributing to high-quality harvest.

This hybrid exhibits high resistance to various stress factors, including low and high temperatures, as well as drought, making it adaptable to diverse soil-climate conditions, including the Polissia and Forest-steppe zones of Ukraine. DKC3972 shows high tolerance to common corn diseases such as helminthosporium, rust, and fusarium, and is resistant to lodging, ensuring stable and high-quality yields.

DKC3972 is suitable for cultivation on all soil types and can be successfully grown under both conventional and minimal tillage systems. The hybrid is recommended for monoculture and requires medium to high levels of mineral nutrition. The optimal soil temperature for planting is 8 °C, allowing effective use of the hybrid under various agronomic conditions.
