Skyway

Skyway® Xpro is a highly effective fungicide designed to protect cereal crops such as winter and spring wheat, as well as winter and spring barley, from a broad spectrum of diseases. The product combats leaf and head diseases including head alternaria, powdery mildew, helminthosporium, septoria, fusarium, and others. Thanks to its complex formulation, including bisafan, prothioconazole, and tebuconazole, Skyway® Xpro provides reliable protection and promotes plant health throughout the entire growing season.

The mechanism of action is based on the synergy of three active ingredients from different chemical groups. Bisafan, belonging to the pyrazolcarboxamide class, inhibits succinate dehydrogenase — a key enzyme in the respiratory chain of fungal pathogens. Prothioconazole and tebuconazole, triazoles, disrupt ergosterol biosynthesis, an essential component of fungal cell walls. This combination ensures high efficacy against leaf diseases and powdery mildew, and guarantees selectivity and safety for all treated crop varieties when applied at recommended rates.

Skyway® Xpro is recommended at a rate of 1.0–1.25 L/ha, with up to two applications per season. The optimal timing for application on wheat is from the end of the tillering stage to the emergence of the flag leaf (BBCH 30–39), and on barley — from the end of tillering to the pre-flag leaf stage (BBCH 30–37). The pre-harvest interval is 30 days, allowing effective protection of crops and high-quality harvest without risk of residual effects of the product.
