Aivenko is a high-yield winter barley with medium-early maturity, having a vegetation period of 253 days. Plants reach a height of about 89.4 cm, and the thousand-grain weight is 45 g. The variety’s yield potential reaches 5.5 tons per hectare, confirmed by long-term trials. The seeding rate is 180-250 kg per hectare, ensuring optimal plant density and high productivity.

The variety exhibits high resistance to adverse environmental factors. Drought tolerance is rated at 8.6 points, and according to some data, reaches 9-10 points, making Aivenko a reliable choice for regions with insufficient moisture. Cold tolerance and frost resistance are at a high level (7-8 points), enabling successful cultivation of this barley in Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones. Additionally, the variety has high resistance to lodging (8-9 points), contributing to maintaining grain quality.

Aivenko also demonstrates high resistance to major barley diseases, such as powdery mildew (7-8 points) and net-forming helminthosporium (9 points). Thanks to domestic breeding and balanced mineral nutrition in crop rotations, this variety shows stable and high yield performance.
