PELICAN is a mid-season eggplant hybrid that matures 115-120 days from germination to the beginning of fruiting. The plant is medium-sized, reaching a height of 100-120 cm, which makes it convenient for growing both in film greenhouses and in open ground. Sowing seedlings is recommended in late February, with pricking out at the seven-leaf stage, and transplanting seedlings into the ground is carried out in early June according to a 40x50 cm scheme. For optimal plant development, the bush must be formed by removing all side shoots and leaves up to the first fork.

The fruits of the PELICAN eggplant have a saber-like shape, 15-18 cm long, 4-6 cm in diameter, and weigh 200-250 g. Their color is milky-white with a matte surface. The flesh is of medium density, white, tender, and does not contain bitterness, which makes this hybrid especially attractive for culinary use. The yield from one plant is 1.5-2.0 kg, which ensures a good volume of produce when growing.

A feature of the PELICAN hybrid is the weak prickliness of the bush, which facilitates care and harvest collection.
