Description MAXIK
Maxik F1 eggplant is an early hybrid with a growing period of 90 to 100 days, allowing for a quick harvest. The plant is semi-determinate, compact, over 90 cm tall, with sparsely hairy leaves. The fruits are elongated-cylindrical, up to 25 cm long, weighing 180 to 250 grams, with a deep dark purple, glossy, and smooth skin. The flesh is dense, white with a greenish tint, without bitterness, ensuring excellent taste and high marketability. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) and cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), as well as relative tolerance to temperature stress and soil salinity. This makes Maxik eggplant versatile for cultivation both in open ground and all types of greenhouses. The plant sets fruit well even under uncontrolled conditions, promoting stable yield. Maxik F1 is suitable for various uses: fresh market, canning, pickling, fermenting, and home cooking. The recommended planting scheme is 90x30 cm. Yield reaches 8-9 kg per square meter in open ground and over 10 kg per square meter in protected ground, corresponding to 40-60 tons per hectare. The absence or minimal number of thorns on the fruit calyx facilitates harvest collection and processing.
