Jaroslavna is an early mid-late variety of cherry from Ukrainian selection, characterized by high frost hardiness and drought resistance. The tree reaches a height of 3.5 to 4.5 meters and forms a columnar crown. The plant prefers sunny locations for planting but can grow successfully in partial shade, developing best on fertile and moist soils. The variety is characterized by rapid growth and early fruiting, which begins in just 2-3 years after planting. Jaroslavna is not susceptible to diseases and does not form root suckers, which facilitates plant care. Jaroslavna cherry fruits are large, weighing from 8 to 12 grams, with an oval shape, dark red in color, almost black when fully ripe. The flesh is dense, juicy, red in color, with a pronounced sweet taste with a slight tartness and rich aroma. The pit separates easily from the flesh, making the berries convenient for fresh consumption. The ripening period falls in the first half to mid-June, allowing one to enjoy fresh berries in early summer.
