Apple INOGO

French Breeding for Premium Markets

The 'INOGO' apple variety, developed by the French institute INRAE and officially registered in Ukraine in 2025, represents a modern approach to orchard management. The tree exhibits moderate vigor and a spreading habit, with a fruiting pattern that occurs on both short and long shoots, facilitating easier pruning and canopy management in intensive orchard systems.

Fruit Quality and Market Appeal

The primary value of 'INOGO' lies in its high-quality fruit. The apples are characterized by their large size and distinct cylindrical shape. The ground color is a vibrant yellow, complemented by a subtle orange-red blush. The absence of ribbing and a smooth, non-greasy skin give the fruit a flawless appearance, meeting the high aesthetic standards required by premium retail chains.

Marketability and Post-Harvest

Designed primarily for the fresh produce market, 'INOGO' excels in transportability. Its firm structure and lack of greasy skin make it an ideal candidate for long-distance logistics and retail storage. The large calyx and uniform shape ensure that the fruit maintains its visual appeal throughout the supply chain. This variety is an excellent choice for growers focusing on high-value, fresh-market production where visual presentation is a key driver of consumer demand.
