Description Georgievskoe
Autumn variety selected at the Stavropol Experimental Station for Horticulture. Developed by P. V. Kuznetsov from the cross of the winter golden 'Parmen' and 'Kronselskoe Prozrachnoe'. Underwent State Variety Testing on the North Caucasus since 1977. Found in old plantations in steppe and foothill zones of central North Caucasus.

Tree tall with a round, sparse crown. Bark and trunk are light gray, smooth until 10 years of age. During heavy fruiting, main branches take a position close to horizontal. Fruit set is concentrated, mainly on terminal buds and fruiting spurs.

Shoots are greenish-yellow, round in shape, weakly hairy with medium-sized stipules. Buds are oval-shaped. Leaves are green, large, elongated, oriented sideways. Leaf margin is serrated with pointed tips at the apex. Leaf hairiness is medium, petiole long, stipules broadly lanceolate, relatively large.
Flowers have 5-7 white-pink petals, with a large, dish-shaped corolla.

Fruits are large (180-240g), one-seeded, oval and smooth. Skin is thick. Main skin color is light green with slight blush covering about half the fruit. Cover color is blurred, with noticeable subcutaneous spots, no signs of surface rust. Peduncle is short, at the level of the rim of the calyx, medium thickness. Calyx is medium, dish is small. Seeds are large, brown, 7-10 per fruit.
Flesh is white, sweet-sour taste, medium aromatic, coarse-grained, medium density. Taste rating — 4.2 points, appearance — 4.5 points.
Harvesting occurs in the first half of September. Storage life is 50-80 days. Consumption is autumn-winter. Delayed harvesting causes heavy fruit drop. Transportability and marketability of fruits are medium.
Fruits have universal culinary use.
Enters fruiting on the 4th-5th year after budding on medium-height rootstocks.
Trees in the Stavropol region are relatively winter-hardy, long-lived, high-yielding with regular fruiting.

Trees exhibit high drought and heat tolerance, but flowers are sensitive to spring frosts. High resistance to scab on shoots, fruits, and leaves; weak resistance to powdery mildew. Severely attacked by fruit borers and flower-eating pests.

Advantages of the variety: winter hardiness, resistance to scab, high yield.

Disadvantages of the variety: weak resistance to powdery mildew.
