Early-ripening variety selected by I. V. Michurin. Obtained through hybridization of White Naliv and Chinese Apple. The variety is included in the State Register for the North-Western and Volga-Vyatka regions.
Medium-growing tree. The crown consists of thin, long, orange-yellow branches. In young age, the crown is broom-like, becoming weeping and spreading in more mature trees. Leaf canopy is concentrated at the periphery of the crown.
Shoots are thin, straight, with light greenish-yellow bark. Leaves are light green, elongated, slightly hairy, with serrated margins and large stipules. Leaf petiole is long and thin.
Fruits are small, amber-yellow, without cover coloration, on short pedicels, with low commercial quality. Fruit flesh is yellowish, tasty, slightly acidic.
Fruits ripen at the end of July. Fruits must be used within 5-7 days after harvest. Fruits drop heavily before ripening.
The variety is highly winter-hardy and early-bearing. Yields are low. The variety is weakly resistant to fruit rot.
Advantages of the variety: outstanding winter hardiness and early bearing, good taste, and very early fruit ripening.
Disadvantages of the variety: low fruit commercial quality, weak resistance to fruit rot, heavy fruit drop before harvest.
