Medium-sized tree, with spherical, well-leafed crown. Mixed fruiting type.
Medium-length and thickness shoots, leaves light green, elongated, egg-shaped or oval, moderately curved and folded, slightly hairy, with toothed or doubly toothed edges, narrow-lanceolate stipules. Petiole of medium length.
Fruits small, one-dimensional, flat-round, nearly turnip-shaped. Main color light green, covering color — brick-red blush on most of the fruit. Peduncle short and medium length. Calyx closed. Seed chambers closed.
Flesh loose, finely grained, sour-sweet, aromatic.
Fruits contain: sugars — 9%, ascorbic acid — 12 mg/100g.
Fruits ripen in the third decade of August, remain in storage for about a month, suitable for fresh and processed use (jam, compote). As fruits ripen, they shed heavily.
Self-sterile variety, best pollinators — Moscow Pear, Pudovshchina, Papировка. Enters fruiting on the 4th-5th year after planting in the orchard, high-yielding, winter-hardy, moderately affected by scab.
