This variety was obtained by crossing variety № 161 with Red-fruited. The breeder of the variety is VNIIGiSPR named after I.V. Michurin. Author: O.S. Zhukov. Submitted for state testing in 1984.
Medium-growing tree with a medium-dense, rounded crown. Shoots are medium-sized and brown. Leaves are small, green, slightly shiny on top and matte on the underside. Leaf margin finely toothed, tip acute. Petiole medium in length and thickness, flowers medium-sized, white.
Fruits are medium-sized (up to 15.0 g), round, dark-red in color, attractive in appearance. Flesh color is yellow. Flesh texture is firm. Juice is colorless. Fruits have a sour-sweet taste (taste rating 4-4.5 points), suitable for all uses. Dry matter content — 14.10%, sugars — 13.25%, acids — 2.0%, vitamin C — 2.54 mg/100g. Peduncle medium in length. Stone is oval, slightly convex, well-detached from the flesh.
Advantages of the variety: high winter hardiness, abundant fruiting, medium-early fruit ripening.
Disadvantages of the variety: fruits are not very large.
