Seedling of the Kuban Comet variety, self-pollinating. Originator — Krymskaya Experimental and Selection Station of the All-Russian Research Institute of Plant Growing named after N.I. Vavilov. Authors: G.V. Yeremin, S.N. Zabrodina. Introduced into the State Register for the North Caucasus region in 2006.
Medium-growing tree with a round-oval, sparse crown.
Large, egg-shaped, purple fruits with a waxy coating. Flesh is orange, with a red skin, medium density, tangy-sweet, pleasant taste, separates easily from the pit.
Ripe in mid-season — at the end of July. Fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and preservation. Self-fertile. High winter hardiness, resistant to diseases.
