Bacchus Betsi F1 is a medium-early hybrid variety of Russian selection, intended for cultivation in open ground. The plant has a bushy type with a powerful, well-branched root system and shortened internodes. The leaves of the zucchini are medium or large, green in color with characteristic spotting and strong segmentation. A high concentration of female flowers contributes to abundant fruiting, which begins 39-43 days after germination.
The zucchini Betsi fruits are cylindrical in shape with a slight thickening towards the flower end, 16-22 cm long, 4-7 cm in diameter, and weighing 300-350 g. The skin is smooth, shiny, and light green with barely noticeable marbling. The flesh is white, dense, and juicy, retaining its qualities even when overgrown. The hybrid is distinguished by high transportability and excellent taste characteristics, making it universal for use both fresh and for processing.
Zucchini Betsi has good adaptive ability, is resistant to dropping of ovaries during hot months, and ensures prolonged fruiting. The hybrid is moderately resistant to fusarium wilt, powdery mildew, and viral infections, which increases its reliability during cultivation. Thanks to its qualities, this variety is widely used in cooking, including for frying, stewing, preparing dietary dishes, and winter preserves.
