Dendy

Dendy zucchini is an early, high-yielding hybrid distinguished by the formation of uniform, bright green fruits of high commercial quality. This hybrid sets fruit well even under stress conditions, ensuring stable and high yields. Thanks to its characteristics, Dendy is suitable for growing in greenhouses, open ground, and under temporary film covers, especially in the spring and autumn seasons. It is ideal for fresh market sales and long-distance transportation.

The plant is compact, of bush type with a semi-closed shape, which facilitates harvest collection. The leaves are green with a light mottling and are deeply lobed. The fruits are cylindrical, light green in color, weighing from 0.6 to 1.8 kg. The flesh is light with excellent taste qualities, containing 4.8-5.6% dry matter and 2.8-3.2% total sugar.

The hybrid possesses high resistance to zucchini mosaic virus, cucumber mosaic, leaf spot, and powdery mildew. The compactness of the plant and the stable high yield over 3-6 months make Dendy a competitive and easy-to-grow hybrid while maintaining excellent taste and commercial qualities.
