Purslane variety 'Barocco' is an annual decorative plant with bright double flowers 3-4 cm in diameter. Trailing succulent stems reach a height of 10-15 cm, making the plant compact and attractive for decorating flower beds and borders. The flowers feature a diverse and rich color palette: yellow, red, white, lavender, and orange shades create an impressive and long-lasting bloom from June until the first frosts.
Purslane 'Barocco' seeds are recommended for sowing in mid-March for seedlings or at the end of May directly into the ground. Seedlings appear quickly, and flowering begins 70-80 days after germination, continuing until late autumn. Thanks to its decorativeness and resistance to unfavorable conditions, this variety is excellent for adorning garden plots and balconies.
Additionally, there is a zucchini variety 'Barocco', which features beautiful disc-shaped fruits with grooves resembling little suns. Young fruits have a green-yellow color, and at the stage of biological maturity, they turn yellow-orange. The average weight of zucchinis reaches 500 grams, with white and dense flesh, making them ideal for canning and versatile culinary use. The fruits store well and do not spoil, allowing them to be used for preparing various dishes, such as a stew with a meat filling.
