Watermelon variety Voskhod is a medium-early and high-yielding variety, distinguished by excellent adaptation to southern and hot regions. The fruit ripening period ranges from 75 to 87 days depending on climatic conditions. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to plant watermelon on open sunny areas with loamy soil, avoiding planting during frost threats to allow fruits to develop the necessary sugar content and size. The best preceding crops for this variety are cabbage, legumes, and early potatoes. In cooler zones, it is recommended to use agrofabric coverings or greenhouses.

Fruits of watermelon Voskhod have a blunt-elliptical shape with an average weight of 7 to 12 kg. The rind is greenish with dark green wide stripes, 15-18 mm thick, providing good protection and transportability. The flesh is vivid carmine-red, tender, juicy, and very sweet. The seeds are brown-black and located closer to the rind. Due to its thin rind and juicy flesh, the watermelon has a pleasant taste and high nutritional value.

Variety Voskhod is characterized by high resistance to diseases such as anthracnose and fusarium wilt, enhancing its resilience and reducing the risk of crop loss. Yield can reach up to 330 tons per hectare, making this variety attractive for commercial cultivation. Due to its good transportability and ability to store for long periods, watermelon Voskhod is suitable both for personal use and for market sales.
