Description
Zucchini "Ataman" is a high-yielding early maturing variety with a period from germination to the start of fruiting of 48-50 days. The plant has a bushy form and produces cylindrical fruits 18-20 cm long. Fruits are light green with white mottling and a glossy surface, giving them an attractive appearance.
The flesh of the zucchini is light, crisp, very sweet and juicy, making it an excellent dietary product. Fruits withstand transportation and long-term storage well, making them convenient for use both fresh and for culinary processing and preservation.
For growing zucchini "Ataman", seed sowing in open ground is recommended at the end of May to early June, in holes with 2-3 seeds spaced 70 cm apart. After the appearance of the first true leaf, thinning is carried out, leaving one plant per hole. It is also possible to grow via seedlings, which allows for an earlier harvest.
